In this episode, Detectives Goren and Bishop investigate the murders of two undercover police officers.
There is little evidence for them to go on, except the fact that the executed officers were looking into an illegal gun-running ring. The case turns out even bigger when seven men are found murdered in similar circumstances. Later, the detectives find a piece of tawdry evidence in an auto paint shop that points them to a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde.
Then, Goren and Bishop focus their attention on a woman who coerced her lover into committing the murders in a scheme to steal money from drug dealers. Goren is drawn closer to catching the pair after discovering several idiosyncrasies, including maps made by Jerome Davis (played by Rodney Hicks) from memory left at the scene of the crime.

[Goren sits down at the computer and starts scrolling down as Bishop clears her throat]
Goren: If I'm not scrolling fast enough for you, be my guest.
Bishop: Sorry, I didn't mean to...
Goren: No, really, I don't mind, you know. Eames likes to drive, so she drives. You want to scroll? Scroll.
Goren: You sure you don't want to take the car?
Bishop: No, it's only two blocks over.
Goren: Your feet hurt. I notice, your toes are curling in your shoes.
[One of the suspects has an injured foot and Goren opens his EMT bag]
Suspect: Oh, what you going in my bag for?
Goren: Because I can. You're low on Ace bandages.
Bishop: After a week of killings, nothing like soft lights and a warm bath.
